After the train trip in upright seats through the night and therefore without any real sleep we waited around at the train station for the free pick up to depart and got chatting to Rorie and Emer and hit it off straight away. They were Irish and therefore probably liked to drink and have a bit of craic. They were doing a round the world trip in the opposite direction and therefore were most of the way through but had loads of good advice (however their budget was somewhat excessive being a multiple of ours (over 3 times), worringly they had overspent by a good amount as well but the crazy fools have been hiring monster trucks.  Enough said.  We got to the hostel and didn't do a great deal except shelter from the rain (yes rain again), have a big breako, have a laugh, an afternoon sleep, a watch of An Officer and a Gentleman, and dinner / drink most of the day. We booked on to the Terra-Cotta Warriors tour with Rorie and Emer for tomorrow.  The hostel has a house poodle, called Teddy as he looks like one, that is only a few months old he is gorgeous.  We have the nicest room that we have had whilst travelling it is like a hotel.  Erica booked this one, surprise, and at 160Y (i.e. 16 quid) it will be the last time I let her, ever! I set about the hostel staff a bit (which wasn't nice as they were great people) and got this reduced to 140Y (14 pound) but still I will get us some decent cheap accomodation in the next place we go.

We finally got onto skype and managed to get through to Vic and James and baby Ellie at about 1:30am. Erica then rang her mum and dad till about 3am and we missed a call from my mum and dad while Lady E was on the phone. All in all it was nice to see rain again but hope it doesn't last too long.  We are very excited about tomorrows tour as it is something that we have always wanted to see, hope it doesn't turn out to be a let down.  It is apparently the Eigth Wonder of the World so I think that makes it 3 in 5 weeks, and you guys thought it was going to be one long drink fest!
