Where I stayed
Sant Anton, Turtle Beach
We found some beach shack stalls nearby and now we have bought Lady E her new leather shoes (which are nice and she is delighted with they cost almost 2 pounds by the time the negotiations ended, her others were falling off her feet) she needs something to wear on the beach
For brunch we had a bottle of coke and a bag of crisps between us from an airconditioned supermarket where we could have spent about an hour, just because it was airconditioned. The sun seems much more powerful here and the weather is so much more humid I'm sweatin buckets.
When we got back to the huts we had been seen at Anjuna (I am amazed by how small and quiet some of these 'legendary' places are). Anjuna is not much more than a few shops and beach stalls, a few bars and restaraunts. I'm not sure how a hippy movement got started here. It is still all lovely though. We got back to the beach had another swim then decided it was far too warm. We got back and sat chatting to Alex while he watched me drink about 3 litres of water.
Went back almost Veggie for Tea as we have agreed to eat a chicken curry that Alex will cook us tomorrow night (for free) and Eggsy still aint feeling the best. I say almost veggie because there was a spider in the bowl with the Garlic Nan (Our first nan bread in India). Erica's Cheese Butter Masala was good thought!.
Got back and drank a few beers on the Veranda, sweating like you have never seen sweat before.
I have no idea how the football ended last night nor do I want to know - Dil (but it was in the newspaper and on the internet).
