Woke with bad head at 10 am and set straight off without breakfast or showers.

Still no pin number running out of money, fast. The lovely Shazzler is going to get us our pin number so we can get money.

Spent about 4 hours in the Hermitage today what a spectacular gallery it has to be seen to be believed. Spent most of today's budget on the entry fee though, (about 6 pounds each). Lots of famous artists but the museum itself is perhaps the best bit.

Erica fell again but thankfully managed to grab me to break her fall.

Erica wasn't feeling well today so we decided to sit down in cheap cafe. We thought it would cost 50p or 1 pound it was however weighed and the price we saw must have been per 100g or something.  First major blow to the budget, anyway at least we can say we have eaten some authentic Russian cuisine, not just budget saving pastry.  I had a stroganoff type thing and Erica a pork chop with mushrooms and an omelette on top pretty weird. Erica has crashed out again but must get up for vodka tasting tonight.  Would like to go to a pub but cant afford a beer as they are almost 3 pound.

Felt quite safe in St Petersburg and not as dodgy as we thought, quite a few people have had to bribe the police, we adopt the head down, no eye contact walk at speed method.

The pin number arrived!!!  Much thanks and love to Shazzler who is an angel!!!  Now have money for Vodka and gherkin.  Another night spent in with the hostel crowd, the Brazilian girls have red wine, yum, we have a couple of shots of it (when in Russia), this time Erica remembers bed but Andrew doesn't.
