So I seem to be unable to pack without first ripping everything apart and re-organizing the various piles at least 18 times (maybe that's 38 times). I have piles of piles that keep changing shape and size. I can't decide how much of what I need to take but the good news is that the piles do seem to be getting slightly smaller each time I rearrange them. I have not yet even attempted to get stuff into the suitcases but between the miracle of compression bags and the invention of expandable suitcases I have faith that everything will find a place (and anything that doesn't fit I don't really need anyway).

Two weeks from tonight I will be......well, somewhere in Central America. We fly into San Pedro Sula, Honduras and then will make our way (by means yet to be determined) to Livingston, Guatemala. It seems like the last several months leading up to this have just flown by and yet have taken forever to pass

Winter in Ontario.

. From the time I first talked to the owner of Go With Gus Tours about doing an internship with him, back in May; to finding out that I had been selected for the internship, back in October; to buying our tickets, back in Dec; to realizing that 2 weeks from today I will be there........it seems my next big adventure started without me even realizing it. I don't really know what the experience will be but I'm sure it will be amazing and I can't wait to find out who I get to meet along the way.
