Today was our final day in Paris and the students were able to sleep in until 8am before our day began.  In the morning, students boarded the Metro and we began with a walking tour of the Jewish quarter, and then we made our way down to the Louvre.  In the Louvre, students were given time to explore the many, many wonderful works of art & sculptures, including the Mona Lisa (students were very impressed), the Venus de Milo, Winged Victory, and many more.

Our afternoon in Paris was exactly what the students were looking for - shopping, shopping and more shopping.  Three hours of time to shop in the busy department store district shed the kids of the extra weight of all that cash, but now means many students will have a challenge packing their luggage and making weight for the luggage restrictions!

Our evening ended with a visit to the majestic artists' area of Montmartre.  Students were able to shop the many small shops, have their portrait painted, visit the Sacre Coure, or sit and listen to the entertainers in this beautiful district.  A wonderful way to end our visit to this great city!
