Thursday, January 24 we tried the Internet again in the morning and it was still down.  So we decided to drive down to the Golden Zone Mazatlan to check it out.  We walked around, decided to treat ourselves to eat out.  It is quite an inexpensive restaurant chain in Mexico called Vips; they offer a two course meal with a drink, a `Daily Specialī of sorts for about US$5.50.  Then back to the hotel to do some work, but the Internet was still down.  We were getting annoyed by now...but such is life.
