Choro trek prowadzi glownie szlakiem Inkow, myslelismy ze przez to bedzie latwiej isc ale niestety poukladane kamienie czesciej wykrecaly stopy niz pomagaly w wedrowce ;)
Opisy tego szlaku twierdzily, ze idzie sie tylko w dol, duzo jednak bylo po plaskim, a od Choro duzo na zmiane w gore i w dol - na sam dol, zeby przejsc rzeke, a potem z powrotem na gore... Ale ogolnie faktycznie konczy sie okolo 3.5km nizej niz zaczyna.
Pierwszego dnia zlapalismy pare fajnych widokow, ale kolo poludnia zaszla gesta mgla i z poczatku nie bylo nic widac, potem sie lekko przerzedzilo i mgla robila ciekawy klimat w polaczeniu z gorami i mini-wioskami z kamieni - kamienne plotki jak w Irlandii, ale duzo wiecej i do tego domki z takich samych kamieni, w ktorych zyli ludzie. Albo raczej pustelnicy...
Pierwszej nocy ustalilismy nasz rekord wysokosci rozbicia namiotu - 3600m. Spodziewalismy sie ze bedzie zimno, ale bylo calkiem dobrze - cieplej niz w Torres del Paine :) Drugiego dnia zrobilo sie dosyc goraco, szlo sie tez caly czas w dol tak dlugo, ze stopy palily. Zaczely sie geste zarosla. Po drodze napotkalismy wodospadzik przy ktorym pocwiczylismy lowienie ryb przy uzyciu naszego zestawu survivalowego. Kiedy biwakowalismy w Choro widzielismy mnostwo robaczkow swietojanskich - otaczaly nas strome sciany porosniete gesta roslinnoscia - i cale te sciany migaly robaczkami - bajkowy widok. Potem szlismy dlugo dzungla, stromymi stokami z widokami na ogromne zielone gory i doliny - klimat jakby w Slowackim Raju, tyle ze gory duzo wyzsze i lasy duzo gesciejsze. Czasami napotykalismy kioski z coca-cola :) i male uprawy bananow.
A teraz wybieramy sie na 9 dni do dzungli - z przewodnikiem, ktory bedzie nas uczyl jak przetrwac :) Mielismy zaczac juz dzisiaj, ale strajki, blokady drog, skonczyla sie benzyna w wiosce i nie ma jak poplynac do dzungli. Ale podobno jutro rano juz poplyniemy. I to bedzie chyba ostatnia wycieczka, zainteresowani moga sie nas spodziewac w Polsce jakos tak pod koniec maja.

Choro trek leads mainly along an Inka trail, we thought it would make walking easier, but the uneven stones are actually making it harder :)
Descriptions of this trail claimed there´s only walking down, but there was a lot of flat parts and from Choro a lot of alternate uphill and downhill walking - down to cross a river, then back up... But in general it really ends about 3.5km lower than it starts.
The first day we catched a few nice views, but about midday a thick fog appeared and we couldn´t see anything for some time, later it cleared up a bit and the fog was making a really nice atmosphere in combination with mountains and tiny villages made of stones - inhabited probably by hermits...
The fist night we set our record - we set up our tent at 3600m! We expected a cold night, but surprisingly it wasn´t too bad - warmer than in Torres del Paine :) Second day was quite hot, we were walking down so long that our feet were burning. We reached a dense chapparal. On our way we stopped by the waterfall and we exercised some fishing with help of our survival kit. When we were camping in Choro we saw a lot of glow-worms - we were surrounded by steep jungle walls - and these walls were twinkling - view like from a fairy-tale. After that we were walking through a jungle, steep slopes with a views on huge green mountains and valleys - similar to Slovak Paradise but the mountains much higher and forests much denser. From time to time we saw small kiosks with coca-cola :) and small banana plantations.
And now we are going for 9 days into the Jungle - with the guide, which is going to teach us how to survive :). We were supposed to start today but strikes, blocades of the roads and lack of fuel for the boat prevent us from reaching the jungle. But hopefully tommorow we will set out. And this will probably be our last trip, interested parties can expect us in Poland around the end of the month.

El camino del Choro es un camino de Incas, pensamos que por eso es mas facil caminar alli, pero no - las piedras son en un mal estado y obstruyen mas que ayudan ;)
Las descripciones de este camino dicen que se solo descansa, pero en realidad se va mucho arriba tambien - especialmente desde el Choro - algunas veces se descansa para cruzar un rio y despues se vuelva arriba.. Pero es verdad que se termina cerca 3.5km más bajo que empieza.
El primer día vimos algunos paisajes preciosos, pero cerca del mediodía vino mucha niebla y por primero no pudimos ver nada. Despues se hizo mejor y la niebla hacía una atmósfera interesante con las montañas y pueblos pequeños de piedra.
La primera noche establecimos nuestro récord - la carpa en la altura 3600m. Esperamos una noche fría, pero estaba bien - mejor que en Torres del Paine :) Desde del siguiente día hacía calor, descansamos mucho - las pies nos dolieron mucho. El bosque era más y más denso. Encontramos una catarata donde practicamos pescar con nuestro equipo de supervivencia. Cuando estabamos en Choro, estabamos rodeados de montañas con la selva densa y durante la noche vimos muchas luciérnagas por todas partes - todo parpadeaba - paisaje maravilloso. Luego caminamos mucho por la selva y cuestas empinadas, a vezes encontrabamos mini-kioskos con coca-cola :) y plantaciones de platanos.
Y ahora vamos a la selva por 9 dias para aprender sobre supervivencia con un guía :) Probablamente nuestra última excursion - vamos a regresar a Polonia antes el fin del Mayo.
