becoming less frequent because my patience with the dial-up connection here is
deteriorating. Since my last post, I have been to Volcan Arenal which was
beautiful, we even had the privilege of seeing it bubbling lava on an extremely
clear night which was fantastic. We also spent a lot of time at the hot springs
(Baldi´s), which were great. There was a series of seven or eight pools that
were heated naturally by the lava from the volcano. On the second night, we
could even sit in lounge chairs in one of the pools and watch the lava coming
out of the volcano. They got hotter the farther you went up, at the top pool, I couldn't even leave my feet in for 5 seconds! We also rode horses to the waterfall, well to the top of the steps that led down to the waterfall (my brother counted the steps...over 500!!!) The waterfall was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen, it is so big I had a hard time getting all (or most of it) into one picture!
