Hi friends and family!
Now that I'm living and working in the capitol, I should be much better at updating these blogs! Anyway, time gets away from me and a hectic work schedule keeps me busy.
So, I'm trying to get some pictures from Christmas vacation uploaded here. I was lucky enough to escape the busy city and head south to visit Isalo National Park (home of the ring-tailed lemurs) and Tulear (with beautiful beaches) with my boyfriend, Noe (you say it NO-WAY......yeah, it's funny). We had a great time seeing sites and just relaxing on the beach.
Now, it's back to work....and writing/revising teacher training materials (like sample lessons) and continuing Teen Talk, the popular (at least here in M-car) English talk show. Both are full-time jobs that keep me on my toes....and little time to relax! Definetely a different 3rd year than I thought :) But, my Peace Corps time here is finished in July and then.....we'll see! I am ready to come back to the states and I need to get my masters at some point....ah, life is crazy. Hope all is well with you and the cold, cold winter is on it's way out. Here, it's about 90 every day with rain every afternoon. And, we just had 2 cyclones pass through....one from the Mozambique channel side and one from the Indian Ocean. Always interesting here!
Thank you again for all the cards, packages, gifts, etc. And- Girls' Camp 2009 is coming in April, so if you'd like to donate-PLEASE LET ME KNOW! We'd love any help we can get-monetary or otherwise!
Much love and God bless,
Amy :)
