So my typical day so far seems to have the same pattern
8:30 ish = get up and dressed, check E-mails, decide what I am doing for the day
10.30 ish = go out and do whatever planned
6pm ish = come back to Granville Island Public Market and eat dinner
Go back to the apartment as I am tired from all the activities from the day, and don't want to be wandering around in the dark
Then slob around and pass out - though not due to alcohol - I' haven't drunk a drop since being in England.

So today's activity was to walk to and around Stanley Park then got to the aquarium. The walk round was extremely tiring, I worked out that in all I walked about 20km today, added to the exercise yesterday it has made my legs hurt! Although on the walk round it was grey and spitting, I could see the beauty of the park. Lush tall green tress with that woody smell, plus the water right by the side of you as you walk all along the sea wall. There are separate paths for walkers, skaters and people on bikes which I really liked, it really is geared towards living a healthy outdoor lifestyle. I have noticed that I haven't seen many large people in Vancouver, though every other shop is selling food, and every other advert on TV is for Subways! Once I got round the park - which was not easy, I settled at the Aqauriam for some good old fashioned Macaroni and cheese (it seems like Jamie also has the cheese thing like I do - it must be a Jackson/Brown thing).

At the Aquarium there were Sea Otters, Dolphins, Beulga Wales (ahhh, they are so sweet)but I didn't watch any of the shows as I find it quite hard seeing them in captivity like that. I spent a lot of my time in the part with the viewing tanks with fish and all the other living creatures that are in the sea. My favorite fish was the blotched porcupine which was really fat and it made me giggle. There were also eels, and sharks (the shark tank went over your head so you could see them above you, and a tropical rainforest bit with tarantula's, snakes, crocodiles, turtles and also birds. I really found it quite interesting and informative.

So I hobbled out of the aquarium and walked for a while, then gave in and got the Aquabus over to Granville Island for my daily treat - today it was Crepes with apple and cinnamon. When I got back Jamie invited me to go and watch her play in her Ice Hockey game, though I declined as was still too tired. When se returned she said she was glad I didn't go - it was their worst game for a long time. Fell asleep after watching a few tacky US soaps.
