Wow - Mammoth Lakes was soo cool.
They had soo much snow the night before we got there soo heaps of fresh powder for skiing. We were snowed in for the morning and turned around before reached Hwy 395 due to snow and wind.

So we went back to 'Angels' restaurant where there was a bar and decided to have a drink and a meal before trying again.

Took a seat beside two guys at the bar and ordered a rum. Turns out these two guys are from Australia, Kingscliff. How about that two Aussies at a bar, who come from Kingscliff (Which by the way is like 2mins from where Ive been living for the last year). Asked for there advice and had them circled a few cities on the map as they had lived in the area for like 8years.

Anyways we made it out with Snow Chains on after a good meal.

Halfway along Hwy 395 which by the way is the most scenic drive ever. The snow chains decided to brake.
KMart Crap. So we ended up having to drive the rest of the way without chains which wasn't so fun.

Made it to Lake Tahoe fairly lat so grabbed some Mexican food and hit the sack.

Anyone driving in America should checkout HWY395 as it is spectacular.

We ended up waking the next morning and doing a lap around Lake Tahoe which was gain very scenic. From there we headed South to Yosemite along Hwy 49.
