Day Three
This morning I walked to the deer park, home to three different types of deer. It is free to get in, but do make sure to shut the gate behind you. After searching for half an hour or so I found the deer all grouped together, and got quite close to them. They were pretty timid though, and watched me as I took photos of them (proper touristy!) and galloped away once I got too close. I followed them to the other end of the deer park then left and walked to the town centre where I was to go to the museum as entrance is free on Wednesdays. There are many interesting exhibitions in the museum showing what life in Esbjerg was like in the past, including reconstructions of streets and homes, and there is a reconstructed viking house and displays of ancient tools and amber. Also, when I was there, they were showing an exhibition about a Danish children's book, with mocked up rooms and scenes that had been featured in the books.
