We followed the tourist trail north for Phnom Penh to wonder at the various temples within the Angkor Complex.

A sunset and a day on bikes touring round, made more impressive by the lack of other people, allowed us to experience the Buddhist and Hindu temples at their best. The Cambodians are intensely proud of these, Angkor Wat appears on everything - the flag, the money and the bottles of beer. Despite a 5am start and being saddle sore, it made for one of the best days so far.
