Eurohostel - Helsinki

The flight from Seattle to Copenhagen went pretty smoothly until the excitement wore off a bit and fatique set in. We were seated next to two men from Sweden who both helped translate the newspaper I picked up in the terminal as we were boarding. The article read that the prime minister of Sweden was looking to discuss peace in Iraq with President Bush, but the writer believed this was not possible while Bush is in office. It is obvious how people in Europe feel about our redneck leader, but so far, no one has held that against us.
The in-flight food was better than expected. Dinner was meatballs and pasta with salad and and spice cake dessert. The midnight snack was leftsa bread with an herb spread and cheese. Breakfast was yogurt, bread and juice.
It was difficult to sleep on the first flight out to Denmark. We had an hour long layover at the airport and continued on to Helsinki. The second flight was on a smaller plane, so the take-off and land left me feeling sick, but Josh and I slept most of the 1 hours there.
We struggled a bit to find our way from the city center to the hostel, but with the help of a friendly finnish girl, we arrived at Eurohostel.
