Switzerland is so incredible that my first inclination is to just skip over this entry since it is nearly indescribable. However, although I haven't even bought a postcard because it won't do Switzerland justice, I will try to describe a little of what we've seen. As I said before, the mountains are gargantuan and absolutely breathtaking. It is like my own little mountain paradise-- Colorado times ten. It really is just incredible. We are serenaded by cow bells that sound like glockenspiels (or however that is spelled) as we walk along paths lined on either side with mountain flowers. It seems as if everywhere you look around, you are overtaken by the amazing mountains, often spouting with waterfalls. We ended up staying in a hostel that is an old, cosy mountain cottage with a million dollar view. (See picture). We hiked or biked every day and one day walked directly up a mountain. After this pleasant grind, Mary decided she would rather cancel the rest of our trip in favor of taking up her new favorite hobby of hiking. Switzerland is indescribable!!!
