This entry will be full of the most beautiful pictures you may have ever seen taken with a simple under water camera. Not that I want to brag or anything, but nature lent
itself very well to the fact that these photos are magnificent. We began our travels today into town to do a tour on a Catamaran through three spots: Dolphin Bay, reefs, and open water snorkling. Our captain was a German man who certainly had some opinions of America
and life and how we are ruining nature.
On the boat were some Americans who lived now in Bocas, along with two German tourists that were students at the language school in Costa Rica. Marcel's (our captain) tour was
eco-friendly so we got to see Dolphins in the Bay but unfortunately the pictures are only tiny flaps of tails and they did not come close to our boat. However, being on the boat was very peaceful. Although the wind was not strong we sailed when we could and used the motor
when necessary.

Our second stop, Marcel pulled into the mangroves and pulled out the snorkling gear. We were able to swim and explore all the reefs in the shallow water. The pictures speak
for themselves, but the colors in the reef were magnificent greens and purples and oranges. The fish there were magnificent too. You were able to just float around and enjoy the coral and the sea life below.

When everyone returned, to the boat we had lunch and my new favorite soda, squirt. The scenes continued to be terrific. Our next stop was at an open water area with tons of fish. Marcel told us he loved this area because he had pineapple piranhas in the area. Thankfully they are not real piranhas, but for some reason they love when he throws the rind of the pineapple into the sea. These fish swarm around and eat the entire rind. The pictures we captured of this are amazing!
After a long day of sailing we enjoyed dinner on a dock by the sea. Tomorrow we are supposed to do another boat tour but we ended up with some bad sunburn so we are going to take it easy and enjoy a long walk on the beach.
