after much madness and socializing in new york city i am back, nestled into the-ami-created-dent in the sofa, powerbook on lap. i most definitely could use some catching up on sleep, and some packing and trip organization is probably called for as well. i did figure out which bags i'm bringing finally and i've discovered the amazing capabilities of those big ziploc looking plastic compression bags with the one way vent thingers - no vacuum necessary! just press down and roll it towards the end to expel air. incredible! sure the stuff in them is going to be all wrinkled and crushed, but now i can fit more in! well, a lot of the stuff coming with me will be staying in Delhi for Meha anyhow.
a few more things left to get...a book, some assorted nonsenese. cheez-its. that sort of thing.
