Surf Camp Australia was an amazing experience. I had so much fun and I actually surfed! Not that I am now a pro surfer, but this weekend taught me the basic skills of surfing. We arrived at Gerroa Beach, south of Sydney, on Friday night. The next morning we were up bright and early at 7am for breakfast and fitting of wet suits. By 8:30, we hit the beach and started to learn the basics of paddling and then standing up. We surfed for about 2 hours and then came back to camp for lunch and to watch videos/pictures of our morning. After lunch, we hit the beach again for 2 hours for more surfing. That night, we relaxed, played cards and went to a local pub. Needless to say after a full day of surfing, we were knocked out by 10pm. The next day we did the same process all over again. The Surf Camp coaches were great and we ended the weekend back in Sydney with icecream at a local shop. The beach was incredibly beautiful and we had lots of fun. Check out my pictures!
This weekend I head to Hunter Valley with my Wine Course. This morning we had the first paper done. It is so hard to stay motivated here, but I got my paper in and now I am ready to enjoy the weekend.
