9 am

My brother Jeremy and his girlfriend Chelsea picked us up in Buffalo yesterday. Then we drove for about 6 hours on backroads to this small town in Pennsylvania. I got pulled over about halfway here. 47 in a 35. The cop let me go. That was a first. He said we looked like good people. I can dig it.

We're staying at this cabin made in the 1800's located at a Christian comune type place. Matt's mother-in-law Geri bought it for like $15,000 or something rediculous like that. It's cool, but it's kinda culty. We don't hang outside too oft.

It should be a nice place to write and reflect on a very pressing physical journey. Which btw, my right thumb isn't working so well. I think I might have strained a nerve. We shall see. Man, it's a relief do be finished with that ride.

We stole a whole bunch of apples and bananas from that expensive ass hotel. I think I'll have one now.

A Cabin Poem....

A cabin in the woods
Canned goods
No appliances
Using science's
Methodologies
No apologies
We are only human
An attempt to live true and
Follow nature with ease
To the trees we go
A family co.
The nativity
Of activities
Playing board games
When we're bored
Games that don't require thinking
Games that welcome drinking
Welcoming competition
Expelling repetition
All journeys are newly on their way
To perditional delay
Celebrating life in health
And eventual death
In hope
