5th July – Today was a long bus ride to Vinales, which took basically all day. But I made more friends on the bus and at my casa where a guy from Australia was staying as well. We were convinced by the little neighborhood kids to play soccer before dancing salsa, swing and breakdance. Playing barefoot was not the smartest idea but once you realized that you can use your size to your advantage, lift them away from the ball and (try to) run off with the ball it was a lot of fun. From that time on we were greeted with LOS TURISTAS!! whenever we returned to the house. The funny thing that happened was that he said that soccer is not his sport so I asked him what he played and he replied hockey. Do you know that? I was like – AAHHHHH so awesome! Of course I know what that is! What a coincidence J

At dinner I had my first lobster ever and it was interesting/good though I still prefer fish. But the mango and fruit are still my favourite anyways. While at the dinner table we experienced a monsoon (spelling) – at least that's what it felt like and after the worst part was over we went to the main square to meet up with my bus friends and sit for the rest of the night in the only bar that was opened in the sudden ghost town (Cubans do not like rain at all) Also I mentioned that Cubans like to drink rum and it is great that a bottle of rum costs between 4 and 6 dollars but a mojito 2 or 3. So we bought a bottle of rum and coke and continued that tradition for the remainder of my time in Cuba as well. – Bus ride to Havannah – 2 bottles before, one during and one after uggghhhhhh

Anyways! Hasta Pronto!!
6th July – We went a very exciting bus ride through Vinales and stopped at a hotel where you could use the pool as while overlooking the mountains and the countryside. I am attaching photos because it can represent it much better than I can with words. Also I am quite lazy right now lol But after that I went for a walk again with a tour leader from a guided tour and we took a horse buggy back to the town because we were all the way out at the tobacco fields. At night, once again, salsa and raggeaton!!
