Finally we were able to see some bears!! A mother bear with her two cubs just about 10 meters away from us. They were very calm, just minding their own business and playing. They were just off one of the walking trails and several other hikers were there as well. Great sight and it was our second bear sighting after our encounter in 2009 at Redwood National Park.
We also met an interesting character who told us about aliens and an upcoming invasion and was traveling with his spaceship 'star' which he allowed us to sit on..... We will see if he was right.....
It is a beautiful N.P. and we continued on some of the hikes with great flaura and fauna and waterfalls. Apparently it is Americas most visited N.P.
