We arrived in Mendoza late in the morning, and the temperature was already mid 20s, which was quite a change from the cold windy weather down south.
We decided it was a good time to backup photos so we spent a few hours in an air conditioned net cafe backing up and uploading photos, as well as catching up on emails etc.
For some reason I didn't take any photos at all in the next few days... Mendoza being the wine capital of Argentina probably contributed to this.
The most noteworthy trip we made was a "bike and wine" tour (Mr Hugo's), where we caught a bus to a place 30 minutes out of town and were given bikes and a map, then we proceeded to ride around to different wineries and do taste testing

Caught the bus from Mendoza in the morning, arrived at the border crossing between Argentina and Chile after a few hours drive. We then sat and waited in the bus for two hours, until it was finally our turn to pass through customs, where they scanned our bags and stamped our passports. All in all it took over 3 hours to cross the border.
The scenery either side was amazing though, as we were crossing the Andes, and after the border crossing there was a series of 27 hairpins in the road, like a long ribbon line.
