I am not sure how I discovered Great Keppel Island & Emu Park but am glad I did.

It wasn't on the tourist map and it was only locals & Aussie that I met. The water was crystal clear, The sand was golden and the sun was shinning so bright I got to see Great Keppel and Emu Park at its peak.

I went out on a day trip with a small catamaran that was owned by a Dutch couple who had travelled and sailed from Europe with there Catamaran.

They provided me with tea & Cakes whilst on there boat and took me to some of the most amazing places around the Great Keppel Island, They also provided me with snorkels and was able to see turtles and many fishes

When I was on the Island, I swam from the boat to shore, I took a picture under a shark with a coconut I found on shore.

I meet two ladies who were best friends and were on a travel holiday, One of the ladies loved taking pictures and loved listening to my story of how I was travelling alone. They were also telling me how they were booked in to swim with the killer whales in NZ after there trip at Emu Park.

I would recommend this place to anyone as it was breathtaking, I thought it was much better than Whitehaven beach and would for sure head back there for another holiday, It was like paradise for me.
