When I arrived in Sydney, International Airport it was extremely large & Busy. I have never felt so scared, Nervous, Anxious and excited in my life. This was the start of my solo travel, My life was about to change, For good or Bad.. I yet wasn't sure.

I was meet by a lady from Real Gap Year which was the organisation I signed up for to do my Work/Travel Holiday in Australia, Which turned out to be a disaster as it wasn't very well organised and everything they done I would of been able to arrange myself and would of had an extra 500 Dollars in my pocket.

I meet new friends through this organisation which I am still in contact with, I felt for my first trip alone, Sydney was extremely large for a wee girl like myself.

I visited Sydney Opera House, Which looked amazing but felt it wasn't as white as I expected it to be ( Maybe my expectations where too high) I also visited Sydney Harbour Bridge, Where I had to get that Photo that all Tourist get in front

As animals are a big part of my life, I had to visit the Tangora Zoo Sydney where I had to ferry over from the Opera House & Also visited the Sea Life Sydney Aquarium. Both these Attractions I saw I extremely enjoyed and would recommend anyone to visit them when staying in Sydney.

I done a lot of walking around Sydney which resulted in getting lost on many occasions, I would end up walking into one mall to exit at the other side of the city. I had never experienced a mall that large I would be intimidated by.

I meet a girl in my hostel called Vanessa, She was also from the UK, Leeds. We ended up taking a train which was a double Decker to the Blue Mountains, This was only a 2 hour train trip and only cost $10 return, This was properly the best barging I encountered in Australia.

I had many nights out in Sydney which included night clubs, Pubs, Sitting at the harbour with new friends I meet and watching fireworks go off over Sydney.

I do feel now that I have travelled longer, I would be more comfortable now to return to Sydney to experience the life style most travellers fall in love with, that at the point I travelled there i was still a shy/Terrified young girl, Feeling extremely lost within myself
