I didn't get to see any of Xalapa besides what we saw from the car because it was so busy (traffic was horrible) and I think the places they wanted to eat were blocked by the traffic so we ended up going to an Italian restaurant in a mall on the outskirts of town before heading back to Veracruz.

Good food and wine though.
