If you do get stuck in Ciudad Guzman you'll find some good hotels to lay your head for the night.
Hotel Zapotlan, Federico del Toro No. 61, Tel: 01 (341) 412-0040. This was one of the better hotels that I came across in the centre of town. The well maintained en-suite rooms with cable TV are set over three floors around a plant filled courtyard and range in price from 270 peso for a single to 800 peso for a suite.
Hotel Reforma, Reforma No. 77, Tel: 01 (341) 412-4454. This 36 room hotel is also good value for money and offers rooms with cable TV and wireless. Their rates were 235, 265, 320 and 380 peso for 1, 2, 3 or 4 persons.
