Today, went on a tour north of the city.  We went with a smaller group of people (twelve in total) and started at Muir Woods.  The redwoods in this park are not as wide as the Giant Sequoias in Yosemite, but they are taller.  Though it is hard to compare the height of one extremely tall tree to another, just looking up at them makes you dizzy. 
Then, in keeping with the theme of dizziness (great segue!), we went to some wineries in the Sonoma valley, and had a great lunch in town.  I could just go back for the food alone. 
We ended the tour by stopping near the Golden Gate Bridge for views of the city.
