There's no doubt it rained. It rained a lot! But, we had a fun day since we rented a car, and drove along the coast. Thankfully I brought my GPS along, since visibility wasn't ideal :) The only real disappointment was that the car rental company didn't exemplify efficiency in any way shape or form since it took more than 45 minutes to wait in line and get our car despite having reserved one the day before. In any event, we drove south on Highway 1 to Carmel-by-the-Sea and then took 17-Mile drive. On our way back to town, we decided to cross the Golden Gate Bridge and stop for a little bit in Sausalito. By then, the rain had stopped.
Strange fact: 17-Mile Drive is 9.6 miles long.
