We arrived at the London Heathrow airport at approximately 8:30am london time (it was 2am in stl)...   After getting through customs (it wasn't bad :) ) Angie and I went off the beatin path of the taxi to the london underground station, otherwise know as the tube :).  This was an interesting decision...considering there were no escalators at one stop we had to switch trains at...but my first impression of londoners was their helpfulness!!  We had help carrying our luggage out of the train and up one of the two flights of stairs.  The walk from the tube station to school was the worst...and resulted in many sore muscles the following day, but our total fee was 4.50 pounds compared to everyone else's 40 pounds :).  So yay for saving money!

 Once we got to school, we signed in and went straight to our rooms!  Mine is 107, but the first floor is actually the second floor.  My roommate is Kelsey from New Hampshire.  She's super sweet :).  

After a day of orientation and a trip to the drugstore, we went out to our first pub!  This was fun, but once I started falling asleep at the table, we decided it would be a good idea to go to bed!  

By 10:30pm I was fast asleep and curing my jet lag :).
