Continuing on down the quai of the Isere River, we found this pizzeria crammed up next to the other 20+ pizzerias along the road.

After briefly scanning the menu on the outside of the restaurant (as most restaurants do in France, offering a glimpse of the menu on the outside of the establishment) we noticed a sign on the window claiming "Kir Offert" or "Free Kir". Who doesn't want something free, right?....Wrong.

Number one sign that the food will not be of good quality; free drinks, dessert, appetizers, etc. is offered with your main course. Unfortunately we shouldn't have been thinking of our wallets, but instead thinking of our stomachs. So as the sign claims, you do receive a free Kir alcoholic drink with your meal, but let's just say that was the highlight of my dinner.

The pizza selection is pretty par with the other restaurants along the road. I ordered the Vegetarian because I can't help but order something that offers me eggplant and artichoke hearts on the same platter.

And waiting for a bit and noticing that our waiters are also our cooks (another sign we should've gone some place else), we received our pizzas and dove right in. Toppings were not skimpy at all, but flavor was lacking severely. Where is our red pepper infused olive oil that we can drizzle on top of our pizzas for a little extra zip?! No where to be found.

My advice to you: don't go here unless it's the last resort.
