Where I stayed
Parc Andre Citroen

Since I have no Internet in my home stay, I have tried to find several means of using the Internet (for free). So now as I write this entry, I am sitting in Parc Andre Citroen (the one I go running in) because thanks to the mayor of Paris, I am able to use free wifi (up to 2 hours) in any hot spot zones in local parks. Parfait!

3 things to share:

1) I went running today, but not in the Parc Andre Citroen. I opted to run to the Eiffel Tower and back. It took me about 40 minutes and the turn around point was worth it! Plus, today is Easter Monday and everything (for the most part) is still closed for the holiday. So running down a normally busy street was quite easy, with no Parisians to dodge around.

2) I heard about this shopping village near Motte-Picquet Grenelle metro station, which I walk to on a daily basis, called "Le Village Suisse." So after walking in huge circles to only realize that it was along the same street, I've walked on several times, I found the little shopping village. It's all over-priced antiques and china and... I was probably the youngest person walking around by at least 30 years. haha

3) I bought a cute dress at ZARA (a chain of women's clothing stores). It's purple-blue in color and tres chic.

Bisous,
Alyssa

Hi Alyssa - sounds like you made enough memories with your family to last you at least until you get back home. It is very fun to read your travel blog! I think your week's tour for them was great - can't believe how many places you went/things you did in less than a week!! Now I really want to go back to France!
Thanks for sharing!
