Hello blog fans,
Heading to the coffee plantations was really interesting and exciting. Though I am not a fan of the drink, I still enjoyed learning a bit of something on the tour (and I even drank some...Grandpa would have been so proud!).
The plantation was 30 mins from Manizales and 1000 meters below, what a differece it makes for temperature and perfect location to grow the plant....which turns into most peopleīs favorite pick me up beverage.
The time spent in Manizales didnīt turn out as hoped, since it rained a lot....so we spent time chilling at the hostel instead of attempting muddy hikes. Maybe we have lost that itch to explore the vast wildernesses...at least we know the process for coffee production a lot better.
Muchos besos,
Alyssa
(For those living in MTL...this plantation sends their beans to your city, so see if you can find it!)
