After much rehearsing the Frankenstein's Christmas Pantomine finally took to the stage in front of an audience and it was hilarious entertainment . Visited the gentoo colonies to see the maturing chicks. On Sunday a procession of belted galloway cattle proved that sheep were not the only driving hazard on the Stanley Road. Turned left to Fitzroy settlement and then continued down the coastal track to the 1982 memorials remembering the losses from Sir Galahad and Tristram ships. Took a boat trip out to Sniper Island where three sealions were enjoying the inland tussac grass and pebbly beach. Turkey vultures perched on a skip watched from the jetty and HMS Endurance provided a splash of colour. Have I mentioned my growing collection of souvenirs, including an engraved armaments shell money box .
