The next morning we took the kids for a game of mini golf - which wasn't as much fun as it could have been, as the turf had little stones all over it (kicked up from the path) which made it harder to play. Just before we left the park at 11.30 we spotted Yogi himself making the rounds on the back of a pickup truck, so we leapt out and the kids got a quick photo with him - Kate beaming from ear to ear - she LOVES Yogi!
For lunch we stopped at a 'Ruby Tuesday' restaurant (another chain restaurant) near the border of Florida/Alabama. They had a salad bar there that was just divine and overall, a really nice meal. Then came the long haul drive to Montgomery, Alabama - we were all singing 'Sweet Home Alabama' along with the stereo when we crossed over the state line. The campground http://www.woodsrvpark.com was just off the main road & had lots of gravel pull thrus, which made parking the 5th wheel easy. Not an especially picturesque part of town, but at least it was somewhere safe to park. We had to put our clocks back an hour when we drove into Alabama, so we get an extra hours sleep tonight!
