Where I stayed
Drove from Fresno to San Francisco today, an easy 5 hour drive.
On the way through Madera we passed a market, so had to stop. All the signs and prices were in Spanish - wish we had Josh with us to translate! He stayed in the car - funnily enough he wanted to play on his laptop instead of shopping...the stall holders all spoke Spanish first. We got some Churros for $1.25 each, the best ones we have had, totally delicious.
Back on the road and stopped in the town of Tracy (!) for lunch. After driving around aimlessly we pulled into a Taco Bell and got lunch and drinks for all of us for $12, pretty cheap we thought.
We got to San Fran late in the afternoon, this was our last day of driving on US interstates (we hit a total of 15,000 kms in 6 weeks today) - a shame but we've had a great time.
