hey hey hey, ska mike here with an update on our trip to the wonderful country of peru.
hope all is well wherever the hell you guys are, i know im having a blast here. so far so good down here  in the southern hemisphere, other than sleep deprivation, were all doing quite well. so this my entry of the blog and hopefully it wont be anything like my brother or my dads entries, cuz its the same old same old. sooooo for them street kids that i love soo much, apparently someone by the name of ALAN has been running for president here and its plastered alllllll over the place, so il defz get a pic of that for the bass drum. the weather has been great so far, and should be the rest of the trip (apparently peru gets a little bit more than a few meters of rain a year) so im pretty stoked about that. no matter how much of a good time im having here im missing home and the familiar faces every day, but the trip has yet to get to its main spot which is machu picchu, gonna be a hell of a hike. three days in the wilderness, i know sarah wouldnt be able to handle it hahaha too many spiders she would say. buses, buses, and more buses. absolute craziness with the drivers here, and i thought us quebecers were bad drivers. and never have i been approached more for the most random things than here in peru. people try to sell you stuff or take your picture and try to sell it to you for a ridiculous amount of money, but i guess thats how things work here. the exchange rate is crazy here, so il be bringing back tons of stuff including smokes and lots of hand made art and clothes. llama llama llama llama duck. LLAMAS EVERYWHERE!!! just for you jenna, hopefully youl read this lol.
thank god for julio (pronounced HOOLEEOH) hes been the best guide in the world and took my brother and i out for drinks tonight. apparently were all `loco´ to him, i guess you could call us the crazy canucks. pisco sours have become the favoured drink by all of us, damn tasty drank i must say. one thing that caught me by surprise was that there friggin´penguins here!!! on a boast trip around some island we saw PENGUINS!! random, i know. i know y´all are gonna be jealous as we went sandboarding the other day along with a ride in a dune buggie! it was rad. hundreds of stray dogs allllll over the place, so friendly but very infested with fleas and ticks, so weve been washing our hands and scratching our backs quite a bit. well thats it from me for now, i cant wait to see everyone again and to party hard throughout the summer, for this is just a warm up. keep it easy and mellow guys.
peaceeeeeee

Hello Leslie, Alan, Mike and Matt
Hey you guys, it looks like you are having a blast in Peru! I love the pictures so far and I can't believe the sand dunes. WOW is a good word to describe them. And where are you flying to Matt? Looks like a long way down. I haven't seen a picture of Leslie yet, where is she hiding...behind a lama haha. The weather here is unbelievable. We were in Peterborough yesterday and actually saw snow, freezing pellets and rain all in the matter of a few minutes. We went to see Andrea and Doug's new house and Robyn and Brent's new lab puppy. Both are beautiful. Take care and have a few of those drinks for me and John too. Love Gayle and John
