Matt here with a breif(as in shorter then my last entry because it was long) update on our situation down here in peru. last night we boarded our overnight bus ride to arequipa a half-hour late and arrived an hour and a half late to our destination. mike didnt get much sleep last night so he was a grumpy-face for a fair bit of the day (but then again so was i) and most of the other were lacking in the sleep departement as well so we all have some catching up to do. once in arequipa mike and i just relaxed while the go getters of the group aka everyone else went and visited monestaries and museums like good old fashioned tourists. and once agian i managed to hurt myself again despite my best efforts. long story short i got a boo-boo on my fonger from a banister in a restaurant. anywho theres not much else to say....the others went out for a nice no-kids diner while mike, julio and i went to a mall where we decided not to see a movie like we had planned but travel via cab to a local bar and shot some pool. sorry about the picture situation here its just hard to upload them all so they might not show up for a bit but my dad (alan o.) is working on resolving that issue so for now youll have to sit tight. other then that its been relatively uneventful ( unless you tried to do stuff regardless of lack of sleep) but things are going to get more interesting in the next couple of days when we visit the colca canyon. thats all for now.....

Guess you must be hiking right about now. Weather here is rainy and about 13 degrees. Guess it's a tad warmer where you are. Keep us posted.
