After saying our goodbyes to our Dive Crew in Ko Phanang, although we only had about 4 hours sleep, we ran onto the ferry towards Chumpon, Thailand.

It was a long 6 hour ferry ride and I still had paint on my face! Once in Chumpon, the bus dropped us off at the Farang bar, instead of the local bus station. Apparently, we couldnt just go to Ranong that night, but we had to wait till the morning... HOw convenient, they dropped us off right in front of a guesthouse... a coincidence? Hell no.... Oh well, we know the drill!

We arranged a Visa run to the west coast of Ranong, Thailand, the very next day. From Ranong, we took a boat to Burma.

When we got to Burma, they kept our passports. We didnt really feel like we were in Burma. It was more like an "unofficial" Burma, where there were more Thais than Burmese. Oh well.

We kind of was hoping to see a bit of Burma, but once we were in, they only let us sit around for about an hour before sending us back on the boat in which we came. LAME. But we were there...if only for an hour. We were there....kind of....

Back in the van, with another 30 days to spend in Thailand, we head back to Chumpon: our gateway to the north.
