We arrived yesterday on Eleuthra. We hired a private plane to take all four of us and our ton of luggage, a cat and dog. It was great because I got to sit in the co-pilots seat. The views were incredible and I counted 5 full circle rainbows!

We arrived by taxi at Magic Sands which sits right on the beach. It was very windy as a cold front had moved in for the last few days. We were greeted by the owners Hugh and Margaret who are from Kentucky. We arrived quite a bit earlier than they expected so they were bustling around getting the place ready for us.The house is really nice though lacks some of the American fine craftsmanship such as walls bowing out and tiles being places at odd angles. That's Bahamian architecture for you. Quirky!  We where told the wifi had still not been installed which made Jim very nervous. He hasn't been able to check his email for days or do any work. It's really put a lot of stress on him.

For dinner we drove north to Palmetto Point for pizza as Grant and Layne had a dinner date with their 14 year old friend Rea whom they befreinded while living here 3 years ago. She has been waiting for weeks to see them and boy was she excited to see them. The 3 of them acted as teenagers as they hung out and played billiards with her and her 5 year old brother.
