Aitutaki, Cook Islands

Today we went on an awesome lagoon cruise. We visited 4 small outer atolls in Aitutaki's lagoon. We went snorkeling in clear turquoise and aquamarine water and saw lots of tropical fish and giant clams. Some of the kids were throwing coral into the giant clams and I got on their case for that! We had a 'local style' food buffet on another small private island and I saw a small octupus in the lagoon while waiting for the food to be served. It's hard to explain how beautiful the lagoon was.
