Sunday 21st
Today we had a sleep in then went for a wonder.  We went to the REI (recreational equipment in) which is a huggge store with all sorts of stuff.  We got covers for our backpacks to protect the straps when they go through the airports and a thermal singlet thingy for ally to keep her warmer :P

Were back in time at the hostel for the free dinner which tonight was Mexican.  It was big servings and very tasty.  We met some Americans from south of the San Francisco area who were really nice and spent the night chatting to them.  Even tried two new beers with our new friends and Ally actually drank one!  Jason reckons now I am a beer drinker and just need training!

Monday 22nd
Today we woke up, had waffles with maple syrup once again then caught a bus to a nearby surburb called Bellevue.  This is a really pretty place that I am glad we went to see and more what I imagined Seattle was
going to look like.  I have to remember tho, that where we are staying in Seattle is in the middle of downtown so of course it wouldn't look like this in the middle of a city.

So off we went on our mission to find Comp USA so Jason could find a mobile charge/camera charger
that he left at home somewhere..  We asked some people in a shop and they pointed us in the direction which they 'thought' it might be.  We could see 'Best Buys' sign what looked like a little way away, so we thought we would walk towards that and if we can't find Comp USA then this will do.  It seemed so close but it ended up being soooooooo far away, was exhausted by the time we got there but I guess we saw alot of Bellevue by foot!  I googled Comp USA in the store while Jason was looking at stuff and it was in the direction we were heading before we asked for directions, lol.  Oh well..

Outside of the store we were walking along the path and Jason is like 'Look, a squirrel!' I was sooo excited to see my first little furry friend.  I tried to take a photo but was a little slow.  I got a photo but couldn't get any closer
before he decided to go bolting up a tree.  I must have had a smile on my face for the next half an hour, made my day.  I was then looking in every passing tree, expecting more :)

After Best Buys, we were walking back to the centre to catch the bus and passed a huge supearket looking place called 'Whole Foods'.  We decided to have a wonder in and found it was a whole supermarket of organic foods.  It
all looked sooooooo good, even tho a little bit pricer.  They had Australian navel oranges too.  For the first time I felt like a tightarse backpacker and we got out of there to find somewhere cheaper to buy/eat!

We got a slice of giant pizza which was pretty yummy then we caught the bus back into Seattle.  On the way back to the city the bus driver took the wrong turn and was heading back towards Bellevue.. he then went down some surburbian street to turn around (we are one of those bigger busses with the bendy middle mind you) and
almost knocked down some signs.  Then as we were turning back onto the highway the next bus for the same bus number we were on was stopped at the lights as we were turning - BUSTED! haha it was pretty funny until
we got to the underground tunnel and he asked us all whether he should go straight or right.. what is it with the buses over here!

We then got a 6 pack of beers and some dark chocolate m&ms to try at the shop before heading back to the hostel.  Grabbed the laptop and headed to the common area to do some work/whatever and met up with our
friends from the night before.  What ended up as a couple of beers, ended up in two cartons of beers with 3/4 other people we had met at the hostel too.  Was a really good day and a really good night to finish it off.
