I am now nice and relaxed here in El Bolson.  What a difference a few days chilling out in a hammock can do for my attitude!  :)  I have been LAAAAAZY since arriving to the Lakes District of Argentina.  (El Bolson is in this district.)  I haven't even gone to see the lakes yet!!!  Can you believe that???  :)

El Bolson is a lovely little town and I am enjoying the peace and quiet.  Peace and quiet except for the scariest, most obnoxious birds EVER!  There are hundreds of these awful, loud, scary birds everywhere you look.  They make the most awful screeching noise I have ever heard in my life.  I wake up at least two times each night because these darn birds screech and scare the beegeezus out of me.  I swear they think it is funny!

There is a fantastic artisan/farmers market held in the town's plaza a few times a week.  I have gone twice already.  Farmers from the local area come and set up booths- you can buy organic fruits and veggies to homemade chocolates to fresh cheeses.  It is just lovely!  There was even a parade of sorts going on in the park, beside the fair yesterday.  Very fun stuff!

There is a purple plant outside of my room- and it is the neatest thing because in the morning the purple leaves open up and remain that way during daylight hours... but as soon as the sun sets- the leaves fold up.  I included a couple pictures of this plant for you to check out.
