I find myself back in Buenos Aires... I just can not get enough of this lovely city! There is just so much to do and countless things to see. Plus, a friend of mine is celebrating his birthday in BA... so I came to help celebrate the big day.
I find myself falling in love with the various areas of BA. There are many "sections" within BA. Some house the majority of the cities museums and art galleries, while another is the hustle and bustle of the work life, across town there is another tango distrcit where free tango shows line the streets, and still another area with loads of parks and plazas. I am not sure which is my favorite. They are all so lovely. :)
On Monday night my friends and I went to one the best live music shows I have seen- certainly the best one of this trip. The name of the "troop" is La Bomba del Tiempo. The entrance line was wrapped around three blocks... and I was concerned that we wouldn't make it in. I need not have worried because there was ample space in this strange lot that was converted to house a music group. 15 guys in red shirts played some of the most energetic and lively music that I have ever heard- with a salsa and Caribbean beat you couldn't help but bop along. Wild stuff!
