I am making my way back towards Ecuador... but not before I stop in Colombia's gorgeous Coffee region.  Part of the Zona Cafeteria- this is a magical little town. The entire town appears to have just been painted for our arrival! Brightly colored buildings are everywhere. I just love it!

The Valle de la Cocora is about a 3 hour hike from Solento. This is where the Colombian's national tree can be found by the thousands... outrageously tall, skinny palm trees soar through the sky. These majestic palms can be found on the Colombian 5000 peso bill.

The flower
We liked the palm trees, the insect pictures, the guy pushing the cart, and the flowers.

We want to know:
Was there good food there?
What did the flower taste like?
WHy did you eat a flower?
What kind of flower was it?
Did any of the insects bite you?
Did the flower taste good?
What kind of flower did you eat?
Did any of the brightly colored buildings hurt your
eyes?
Were there snakes?
Did you see any jumping spiders?
Have you seen any tarantulas?
Did the flower taste sour?
Did you see any southern black widow spiders?
Were you scared of the spider?
Did you see any Daddy Long Legs?
What kind of spider was in the picture?
How did you get close-up of the spider without it biting you?
What did you like when you ate the flower?
Roughly, how tall were the palm trees?
Did you gert stung by a bee?
What kind of green bug was that?
Where are you going next?
Did you meet any nice people?

Thanks for answering our questions, even the repetitive ones!
