The last day in Dahab was snorkeling again. This time a place known as 3 Pools. Not as good as the Blue Hole but OK - except for the jellyfish. They are harmless but feel horrible when they brush against you. Hundreds, no thousands there.
Then on Monday it was an early start to catch the early ferry ( the super fast ferry). And it was early. Left as 3.30am. Mini bus to Nuweiba ( the Egyptian port about 100km north of Dahab) arriving at 5am, a little wait for Egyptian formalities, then onto the ferry at 6 and away at 6.30. All pretty easy and straight forward.
The trip up the Gulf of Aquaba took about 1.5 hours so it was a fast ferry!!! A pretty new twin hull cat. Good ride ( the gulf is like a mill pond - definitely not a place for surfers) and we were in Aqaba by 8. Then Jordanian formalities and I was in Jordon.
