So today was the traveling day and after 24 hours we finally made it to Egypt. Four of us departed from Dallas then met with the rest of the group in Chicago. After this we flew to Frankfurt, had a 5 hour layover, and finally arrived in Cairo. Whew! We were all exhausted. Although, I did catch up on several movies in the plane.

Customs was fairly painless and after squeezing all of our luggage into one small bus we finally arrived at the hotel. Luckily, we all have our own rooms, which is nice. No major incidents along the way, however, it is interesting that Egyptians have 3 painted lanes but choose to make 5 lanes. It causes quite a traffic jam. We all (18 of us) ate at the hotel for $100, which is amazing and makes me feel rich. Welcome to Egypt! More info. later.
