My first backpacking trip all on my own. I was nervous but loved every second.

The independence of going where ever I wanted.

Deciphering the train schedules

Sleeping in dorms. Meeting other backpackers, mostly kiwis and aussies who had been abroad for months. Only further inciting my travel fever.

The weather was uncooperative at best. but isn't the rain what makes the green countryside so beautiful. I donned a raincoat and explored.
