We made it out to the snow fields again in Feb to give me another go at skiing. This time was much more successful, by the end of the week I was really enjoying it and had progressed heaps i think mainly due to the fact there was a really great beginners area.

Lech was a very pretty village and we were soon regulars at the Pfefferkorn bar which was outside and overlooked the main street, a perfect place to meet up after a days skiing, enjoy the last rays of sunshine and people watch. One day there was even paparazzi taking pictures of us from across the road.. well actually rumour was the King of Spain was at the bar, there were definitely some very handsome and important looking men at the other end of the bar - so does that count as drinking with the King of Spain? I like to think so :)
