Oh well suck it up.
Got the bus til the end of the line due to no map and that San Fran is 7 miles by 7 miles so figured we'd hit water if we kept going in one direction. Super plan. Found the bay and wandered a bit. Everything here is organic free range and even found a vegan doughnut place!!
Got a tram to pier 39. There are totally sea lions there!! Did not know that. Got to the end of the pier and saw Alcatraz. Decided not to go over cos it was so wet and nasty. My pics are a bit out of focus cos I just didn't care. Got wet feet. Oooooh got a totally inappropriate pressie for porridge. :) Really tried very hard to get a picture of the golden gate bridge but it was kinda cloudy. (sorry Claire I'll get one tomorrow)
Wandered round fisherman's wharf and up a git massive hill to see the wiggley winding street.
Went home to be not wet anymore and went out to Zuni. Very lovely restaurant. We shared a roast chicken it was gorgeous. :)
Home to bed.
