Since our last blog we have had the longest day ever. It started in Tokyo for our last day in Japan. we did some last minute site seeing by going back to Shinjuku station to go up the govt building to the 47th floor observatory. the view of tokyo was pretty good but a little too hazy to see Mt Fuji. we then did a little more exploring of to the station as it is huge with heaps of shops. finally we made our way back to harajuku to take one last look at the weird Japanese outfits. We then raced back to our hotel to get the shuttle to the airport and left Tokyo 6:30pm. Due to crossing the date line after our 9hr flight we arrived in LA on the same day at 10:30am. it took a while to get through security and then to get our shuttle to the hotel. we finally got to our hotel around 1pm. we Quickly ran across the Sunset Strip to starbucks to grab a coffee and lunch and then headed straight out on a tour of the sights of LA. They took us to heaps of the stars houses including brad and Ange's, John travolta, Leo decaprio, the Spelling manson, Jen Aniston, Jodie foster, and also pointed out some of the crash sites of Lindsay Lohan. From there we went to Hollywood to see the Stars on the ground, the chinese theatre and kodak Theatre. then to rodeo Drive, Beverley Hills and the farmers Market for dinner. Yes one BIG day.

Day 2 in LA and we went to Santa Monica Pier and Venice beach. Had a great time people watching and ended up at hooters for dinner.

Day 3 - Universal studios. that night we went out to the Viper Room. we saw a british band called "the new breed" and another band we didn't get the name of. also saw a solo singer down the bottom bar which was really nice.

Day 4 (today) got up quite late after last night and headed out to west Hollywood for Cafe breakfast.  Then on to Rodeo Drive for window shopping. I have never seen so many expensive cars in one block. we saw a Mercedes trying to parallel park, nudge a Lexus to get in.  Across the road there was a porche next to a Hummer. A bugatti that everyone was taking photo's of and a car that looked a little like the bat mobile being filmed racing down Rodeo Drive. tonight we are planning to hit the clubs in West Hollywood.

So Far no Stars except for the dog from "Hotel for dogs' which we saw at the animal actors show at universal studios.
